A Late Update.........
Tuesday I'll be having my second chemo cure
ill be back home Thursday morning
For the first time in more than six months i went shopping for new clothes
which was great!
but when i was searching for some t-shirts,i saw this t-shirt
(it had a different colour and different camel drawing on it)
and thought how sick can a persons mind be!
to think about making this.
don't they know how horrible cancer is!
i also mentioned this to some one who worked there, she also found it a horrible shirt
(some one she knew also had cancer) and always hid it somewhere in the rack where it was hard to find.
they should ban such t-shirts and lock up the person who made it!
i bought a Pink Floyd t-shirt,Che' Guevara t-shirt,The Clash sweater and two pair of baggy pants
Greetings
Dirk

I think that the shirt is trying to criticize the Camel cigarette brand -- linking the product with cancer by playing with the logo? In the states, the camel company has been using a cartoon camel to make cigarettes look cool for a few years, and are disliked by many. Anyway, while I find this shirt in somewhat poor taste (both of my parents have had cancer), I think it has "good intentions".

Hey hope the chemo went well...i love your site and have been following your writings, best to you, and thanks. Brennan in NYC
Jay is right. It's DEFINITELY a negative comment on Camel brand cigarettes: an ANTI-smoking design. Crude for sure, but that appeals to kids, and if a crude shirt makes a kid think that smoking is lame, I'm all for it!
hope you're doing good dirk! don't worry about silly t-shirts - just focus on getting well! peace
Time after time I stumble upon your blog... hope you're goin' to recover as soon as possibile. Nice to se you're always very aware of what's around you & you keep asking questions and wondering why... this is definitely a very good sign. Best to you & your family
