Q65-Revival
1969 Dutch Blues/Garage/Psychedelic RockReissue of perhaps the most psychedelic album by the Dutch band Q65, released in 1969 after they temporarily broke up in 1967. It's made up of singles and the last material recorded by the band. At times Revival sounds like Group 1850, as on "Voluntary Peacemaker" and the trippy mellotron and languid guitar based "Fairy Tales Of Truth". Excellent '60's Dutch psychedelia.

those more psychedelic are actualy not by Q65,but their 1968 ofshoot Circuswich were more psychedelic and used lights shows
and wanted to make a performance for mind and body
and the that they sometimes sound like Group 1850 is because Circus had the same producer
i also added the A side of the only Circus single released (Medusa),the b-side was allready included on this album.

Holy shit! This is really good. Group 1850 is one of my favorite bands, and I can see what you mean about it sounding similar at times.

I don't know what do you mean with that term "psychedelic" because a psychedelic experience is characterized by the perception of aspects of one's mind previously unknown and this album isn't like that enough. 23jj

Thank you very much for writting this article. I am in the process of writting a website which will allow musicians to create an account in which they can have their songs posted and information about them and their band on it in order to help them spread their name and receive feedback on their music. The problem i found was would someone take my site seriously when it first starts out. I figured the more credible it was and the more believable it was the better it would grow.This article has helped me tremendously and will hopefully improve my site.
