Short Update

Just finished my first chemotheraphy session
if everything is alright I can go to home tomorrow
and stay there for 2 weeks.

the chemoptheraphy was quite heavy and I puked a lot.
one "bag" of chemo had to get in my body in 5 minutes
and then I got half a liter of water so I don't get any burning wounds?

had some problems with eating, but that is going better now
thanks to my mother who sleeps in the same room(nice people at the hospital).
who motivates me to eat and try some food.
some food doesn't taste that good anymore.

but it gets better each day.

Update:some sad and good news

i am writing this from the internet cafe in the hospital.

some sad news this time

last week i heard that my tumor was not a good one
but a evil one that is aggressive and growing fast.

i had to move to a different hospital, which is more specialized in this kind of things

tomorrow the surgeons and doctors will have a meeting about me (and other patients)

where they discuss what they should do with it

one of the possibilities is that a part of my leg is going to be amputated and that i get a prosthetic leg

because Chemotherapy is not possible because the tumor destroyed some muscles and such

and there's not enough healthy flesh left

but im going to fight really hard to defeat this tumor/cancer

the good news is that they did not found any Metastasis

i think that I or my Dad will post my new address soon so you can send some cards.

Greetings from the UMCG(University Medical Centre Groningen)

Dirk.
